Paul, the Managing Director of South Downs Funeral service explains, “I remember Dad talking about his funeral training alongside his training as a plumber in the village he lived in. He always referred to the funeral profession as being very unique as each and every family needed very different help and support”.
Paul has over 40 years within the funeral profession and passed his Diploma qualification in 1985. The Diploma is the pinnacle of funeral qualifications and standards, and was awarded by the National Association of Funeral Directors.
Together with Paul are our fully qualified lady funeral directors Mrs Kerrie Davey Dip FS and Miss Lucy Thomason Dip FS. Both Kerrie and Lucy have obtained their Diploma’s in funeral directing.
Supporting Paul, Kerrie and Lucy are Nicki and Tanya in our Clanfield funeral home and Jenny and Pam in our Wickham funeral home. Asissting us is Mr Tim Coad as Funeral Ambassador.
Additionally, a dedicated team of chauffeur bearers provide the highest standards of professionalism at all times.
