The Direct Funeral Service
£1395.00 Plus Disbursements
We are pleased to offer a Direct or Simplicity Funeral Service. Invariably, this would be at 8.30am in the morning at a local crematorium. In accordance with the crematorium’s regulations, there can be no attendance by family or friends. We would provide a suitable vehicle and two members of staff. The coffin will be conveyed into the crematorium on a bier.
Full payment for this service will be required prior to the funeral taking place.
The Simple Funeral Service
£2695.00 Plus Disbursements
We are pleased to offer the Simple Funeral Service which includes us taking responsibility for making the arrangements, liaising with the crematorium or cemetery, clergy or celebrants, taking the deceased into our care from where they passed away, use of our chapel of rest or contemplation room, the provision of our hearse and four liveried pall bearers, a simple coffin and for the attendance of a fully qualified Funeral Director throughout.
The day and time of the funeral will be at our discretion and the limousine cannot be provided for the simple funeral service.
Full payment for this service will be required prior to the funeral taking place.
The Tailored Funeral Service
£2995.00 Plus the coffin of your choice and Disbursements
We are pleased to offer the Tailored Funeral Service which includes us taking responsibility for making the arrangements, liaising with the crematorium or cemetery, clergy or celebrants, taking the deceased into our care from where they passed away, use of our chapel of rest or contemplation room, the provision of our hearse and four liveried pall bearers and for the attendance of a fully qualified Funeral Director throughout.
The Tailored Funeral Service allows you to choose the coffin of your choice from a range including veneered, solid and eco designs.
Should you require it, our limousine, which can accommodate 6 passengers, is available to you and the family. We are pleased to take small children in the limousine, although would ask you to provide a suitable car seat, to ensure their safety on the journey.
Our Additional Charges
As every funeral is unique and tailored to an individual family, there may be additional charges to provide the service required.
These charges may include additional limousines, arranging an interment of ashes, dealing with musical requirements or providing further members of staff.
We will discuss this with you at the time of, or soon after, making the arrangements for the funeral service.
The Disbursements
In addition to the above charges, are what we refer to as fees or disbursements. These are the charges that the crematorium, cemetery, minister or celebrant may make, in order to provide their services.
We pay these fees on your behalf, and itemise them on our account to you.
Our Terms Of Business
We will always provide a written estimate of charges either at the time of making the funeral arrangements or sooner afterwards.
A final account will be sent to our client within 7 days following the funeral service. Any outstanding balance must then be settled in full within 14 days of the date of the account. We accept cash, cheque or on line transfer for settling funeral accounts.
We reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 1.00% per month or part thereof on any outstanding balance.
Funeral Charge Promise
We believe that our funeral charges are fair for the professionalism of the service we provide. We would be pleased to consider matching any estimate from another funeral director.
